WHAT IS AGNES TREATMENT?

AGNES is a minimally-invasive radiofrequency (RF) microneedling device. What’s unique about the treatment is that the handpiece features precise, micro-insulated needles which help beneficial RF energy penetrate the skin. Needles of different lengths and configurations allow our staff to customize the treatment based on your unique needs.

RF is a safe form of energy that can improve cosmetic concerns by gently bulk heating the skin. What conditions can AGNES RF treat? The AGNES RF device was initially created to treat stubborn under eye bags often caused by aging or genetics. Over time, you lose collagen and elastin and the structure around your eyes becomes weak. Thankfully, you can banish under eye bags with the AGNES.



Can AGNES RF treatments improve any other cosmetic concerns?

It is a versatile device that can improve a variety of cosmetic concerns, including acne, puffy lower eyelid pads, wrinkles, scars, enlarged pores, undereye bags, sagging skin, and uneven skin texture.


How long does an Agnes RF treatment take?

Most treatments take anywhere from 15-30 minutes. For example, submental treatment could take about 20 minutes.


What should my patients expect during treatment?

There is minimal discomfort during the treatment and the patient should feel a light warm pressure. There may be redness and/or hot flashes on treated areas for a short period after the treatment.


How many treatments are required?

Patients can see improvement after one treatment, but a series of one to three treatments may be needed to achieve optimum results. The effects of each treatment will continue to improve over the coming months.



Will I be able to go back to work the same day?

There is minimal to no downtime with AGNES RF treatment. Patients feel little to no discomfort during treatment when a topical anesthetic is used. It only takes around 20 minutes to treat the entire face and results can be seen after one treatment.



How long until I see results?

It is normal for the treated area to look worse for up to a week. Over the coming months, skin structure remodeling and new collage synthesis will reveal your firmer, smoother skin.

Pre Care Instructions:

• Avoid retinols for 2 weeks prior to treatment.
• Avoid sun exposure or tanning for 1 week prior to treatment.
• Clean the treated area with a mild facial cleanser. Avoid acid cleansers or scrubs
one week prior.
• Avoid alcoholic beverages for at least two days prior to treatment as it will
increase bruising.
• Avoid NSAIDS, omegas, vitamin E or fish for 3 days before treatment.
• Reschedule if you have any active infections or cold sores the day before
treatment.

Post Care Instructions:

Apply ice pack 3 – 5 times per day, 3 – 5 min per each for the next 3 days.
• Remove dressing the morning after treatment.
• Clean the treated area with a mild facial cleanser and water. Keep it dry to avoid
infection.
• Avoid alcoholic beverages for at least one week after treatment.
• Avoid NSAIDS, omegas, vitamin E or fish for 3 days after treatment.
• Make-up can be applied 24 hours after treatment.
• Report any swelling, redness, bruising, or drainage away from the treated areas
or continued swelling, redness or bruising lasting more than 7 days.
• Follow up in one week for recheck. Additional treatments may be needed in 4-6
weeks.
